AIT Profile – Lindy, just Lindy

February 10, 2025

Ok, his name is not just Lindy, it’s actually Adam Lindemier. AKA: Lindy! If you have ever set foot at the American Immersion Theater headquarters, you’ve surely heard about him! A man of many faces (but not two faced), our talented Lindy is not only one of our Sales Representatives but he also takes on bigger projects as an actor with AIT and outside the company.  Yes, there’s a reason why he happens to be the winner of The Immersioneer of the Year award! He’s THE Lindy!

“The Immersioneer of the Year award is the highest honor our company bestows and to have our leadership consider me such an integral part of our core values and company culture means everything to me. I’ve worked myself to the bone for so many employers to get nothing more than slight recognition and a ‘keep up the good work!’ This level of recognition is extremely validating and makes me feel very much at home here at AIT. Everyone here is someone I would go to war for and hopefully, I never have to prove that.”

Background:

Lindy has two kids and he always says that being a parent challenges him to be the best version of himself. On top of a busy life being a father of two teenagers, Lindy is also passionate about theater. From drama classes at school, he always knew where he wanted to be and ON STAGE is the answer!  “I loved losing myself in characters and exploring human dynamics which helped me learn about myself. Creating characters and experiences larger than life to make people smile is my favorite part about acting.” He takes his acting career very seriously through diving deep into the character, holding himself accountable to his own standards and deadlines. For the AIT 2024 Holiday Movie he was our terrifying, merciless “Grinchifier” (let’s all hope he didn’t get too much into that character).

Personal Life:

Lindy grew up looking up to his father, “My Dad will always be my hero and I wish I could have had more time with him. He worked his life away and he taught me that investing in what you love can pay off. For my dad, it was making cars (he worked at GM Motors for about 30 years)”. Before his time at AIT, Lindy found himself following in his father’s footsteps selling cars himself. However, after a time, he discovered that his feet belonged not on the lot, but on stage.

Lately, he’s been working alongside a select group of actors in one of our biggest and most elaborate productions at the Grand Hotel. If any of you have ever left one of our shows wanting more than just an evening of entertainment, The Grand Hotel’s Murder Mystery Weekends offer three immersive days of best-in-class food, beautiful scenery, and the best talent AIT has in the nation. The Grand Hotel is our magnum opus, and your chance to meet THE Lindy in real life!

But not all have been giggles and smiles. Lindy grew up in a haunted house! “My Mom actually hired an exorcist and didn’t tell us for years. One day we saw a face develop on the woodgrain door to our basement and then it was just gone (after the exorcist came). Come to find out later, previous relatives conducted seances and the like down there.”. Now we know if his teenagers ever try to prank him with ghosts, Lindy is ready for it!

Lindy by Lindy:

“A long road of trials and persistence. No matter how dark things got I always pushed through knowing I could achieve something better. I had some very low lows, but being where I am here and now makes it all worthwhile. Never projecting my problems onto others and approaching people with grace and a willingness to help. Combine that with a love of all things entertainment and D&D and you got yourself a Lindy. ”
