What you need to know
Our Seattle murder mystery dinner theater series at Imperia Lake Union kicks off with a killer throwback to the 1920s! Come dressed to impress in flapper dresses, pinstripe suits, fedoras, and feather boas for a shot at winning our Best Dressed contest—or just come as you are. Costumes aren’t required, but they do crank the immersion up to eleven. And trust us, with hidden rooms and secret corridors built right into this Prohibition-era-inspired venue, you’ll feel like a bootlegger in all the best ways.
Location
Imperia Lake Union is located at 3119 Eastlake Ave E in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. While our murder mystery dinner theater performances take place in The Ballroom, the venue is well known for its stunning, stylized weddings and vintage art deco charm.
The venue offers limited parking onsite, so we encourage guests to ride-share, carpool, or use public transit. Street parking is available nearby, but may require a short walk.
Food
Every murder mystery dinner theater event at Imperia Lake Union comes with a delicious three-course meal worthy of a last supper. Dinner begins with a fresh house salad and warm dinner rolls. For the entrée, you’ll choose between:
- Chimichurri steak with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables
- Grilled salmon with rice pilaf and grilled vegetables
- Vegetable Napoleon stack with rice pilaf and grilled vegetables

Drinks
A cash(less) bar will be available throughout the event, offering classic cocktails and curated concoctions to match the evening’s intrigue. Imperia is going above and beyond with a specialty drink menu—you might even catch a cocktail that comes with a side of smoke and mirrors. But no spoilers… you’ll have to come see for yourself!
How to attend
The Murder Mystery Company makes its killer debut at Imperia Lake Union on August 22, 2025, with the roaring 1920s-themed show Death of a Gangster. We’ll be back again on September 13, 2025, with a 1930s-inspired evening of suspense.
